Human Resource Manager
Job Title: Head of HR
Department: Finance & Admin
Location: Head Office – Hai Alandalus
Reporting to: General Manager
Purpose of the role:
To develop and maintain the HR department (including policies and procedures) which shall ensure a healthy and competitive work environment within the frame of equity and motivation concept.
Role & Responsibilities:
The functions included in this job are as follows, but not limited to:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, discipline or other issues
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Support current and future business needs through the development, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures and policies across the organization
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Maintain and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Maintain salary structure and benefits program
• Maintain and updating of Job functions and specification (Job description, Competency analysis, competency mapping).
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Ensure the effective implementation of the HR system in the company.
• Effective manpower planning
• Contract preparation for new employees
Required competencies
Knowledge
• Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive
• Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Technical Skills
• Competent in working with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point etc. as well as other defined systems
Specific Practical experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience
Other:
• Fluent in Arabic and Excellent command of English (writing / speaking/ reading)
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
