Purpose of the role:

Role & Responsibilities:

The functions included in this job are as follows, but not limited to:

• Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
• Creating in-house applications using the .NET framework.
• Debugging and maintaining written code.
• Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis.
• Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
• Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
• Working in a project team alongside other developers.
• Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
• Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
• Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.
• Manage SAP Business One users, authorizations, and profile.
• Responsible for the effective & efficient provision of SAP Business One modules to all the Users and promptly responding to the users requests.
• Administer the SAP Hanna Based database (plan and perform database upgrades, apply database maintenance, design and maintain physical database layout, perform database reorganizations, design and implement backup and restore strategy, maintain database security, administer database performance, manage database storage, database problem determination and resolution, etc.)
• Planning and implementation of SAP Business One system upgrades.

 

Required Technical / Functional Competency:

Academic Background:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or information technology.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of other coding-languages (PHP, C++, Java, etc).

Technical Skills:

• Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
• Experience with working in an agile environment.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems as per the companies needs.
• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
• Implementing security measures in all areas of work. Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure in regards to all areas of work.
• Managing database access, specifying users and user access levels for each segment of database.
• Design SQL and MySQL client/server and web-based application solutions using best practice methods and approved technologies.
• Support, tune and administer the database environments (SQL Server, MySQL) and applications.
• Responsible in planning, designing, and developing database servers, web servers, and application servers. Implements and maintains the architecture necessary for company application integration with other application systems.
• Manage, develop and maintain all technical aspects in regards to company web site.
• Responsible in the development of database-related development standards covering database creation, software placement, storage and auditing.
• Plans and implements operating procedures for backup of database and recovery of database information.
• To manage and operate safely the company external web-server and the internal Intranet server.
• Implement the necessary technical updates and modifications to the website’s code and database structure to accommodate new content using PHP. HTML5, CSS3 and Javascipt (jQuery).
• Resolving any technical issues with the website such as broken links, broken pages and functionality errors.
• Responsible for the design, development and implementation of required applications.
• Keeping databases up to date.
• Designing maintenance procedures and putting them into operation.
• Ensuring that databases meet user requirements.
• Liaising and following-up with programmers, applications/operational staff and other technical staff.
• Defining objectives through consultation with staff at all levels.
• Writing reports, documentation and operating manuals.
• Testing databases and applications to ensure that they operate reliably.
• Providing user training, support and feedback.
• Writing disaster recovery plans.
• Archiving data

Specific Practical experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.

Other:

• Exposure to SAP Business One and its integration workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Passion for performance optimization and modular architecture.
