Purpose of the role:
As a Senior Key Account Manager at Rawafed, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving sales of Microsoft products as well as Rawafed’s connectivity and ICT solutions. This role involves overseeing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals, ensuring timely payment collection, and meeting sales targets. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, and your expertise will help us achieve our business goals.
Role & Responsibilities:
The functions included in this job are as follows, but not limited to:
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales of Microsoft products and Rawafed’s connectivity and ICT solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts.
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key accounts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Sales Cycle Management:
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all sales documentation and contracts.
- Oversee payment collection, ensuring timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Product Knowledge & Promotion:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products and Rawafed’s connectivity and ICT solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Provide clients with information on product features, benefits, and pricing.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Rawafed’s products and services.
Meeting Sales Targets:
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Develop strategies to achieve sales goals and monitor progress towards these targets.
Required Technical / Functional Competency:
Academic Background:
- Ideally a Bachelors or Masters Degree in IT.
Knowledge:
- In depth understanding of sales and marketing principles
- Good understanding of market activity
- Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of concern
Specific Practical experience:
- At least 3-4 years proven sales experience in a similar post
Other:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Customer facing with a friendly personality
- Pleasant and polite.
- Be able to speak well with regard to the products and company in meetings and presentations.
