Pay instore with your bank card!

Dear Customers,

We are very happy to announce that you will now be able to pay instore with your bank cards. This service is currently valid for customers who have accounts with the following banks:

  • National Commercial Bank
  • Jumhoriya Bank
  • North Africa Bank
  • Wahda Bank

The maximum amount that can be paid is 500LYD and any quantity above this limit would have to be paid in cash. This service is currently available at our main branch in Hai Al Andalus and is reserved to customers who have direct accounts with Rawafed Libya.

New policy regarding unactivated accounts

Dear Customers,

We would like to notify you with our new policy for free accounts which will be effective from January 1st 2016. All free accounts will be cancelled automatically as follows:

  • After 60 days from the creation date for Consumer accounts B2C
  • After 90 days from the creation date for Business accounts B2B

Therefore you are kindly requested to activate any free accounts you may have to avoid the loss of your subscription.

In case your subscription has expired, you will be required to pay resubscription fees as follows:

  • For Consumer accounts B2C: 200 LYD + Activation Fee
  • For Business accounts B2B: 400 LYD + Activation Fee

Announcement: Changes to some package sales in Eastern Libya

Please be informed that the Tooway XL and Access Absolute packages will no longer be for sale in the eastern region starting November 1st 2015.

Customers can continue to use these packages as long as they renew their subscriptions before they expire. Our current promotions will be valid for any new subscriptions or renewals.

However, customers are expected to experience slowness on both downloads and uploads during this time. In the event that you face any problems with the service after the maintenance period, we kindly recommend that you restart your modem.

Rawafed would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our customers and resellers for your ongoing support and all the very positive feedback we received under what was a very difficult time for you all and our business.

The team at Rawafed have been working extremely hard to ensure firstly the return of our service to all our customers and secondly to ensure that there will be no further disruptions as was experienced during the 1st part of July, even though we are aware that there has been some strong and false allegation made on various forums about Rawafed, including the misuse of our company logo. However, I can assure you all that we are taking the appropriate legal action against these companies and individuals.

As a thank you for your dedication and support, we have decided to provide all our customers with a free data allowance equivalent to 1 month. This is inclusive of the 14 days of service disruption (30-6-2016 until 13-7-2016). We will also be providing an additional 15 days as a complimentary gift upon subscription renewal.

Announcement: Service disruption compensation plan

Dear Customers,

We would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your positive feedbacks. Further to our initial announcement regarding the service reactivation and as part of our efforts to please you and compensate you for the disruption caused, we have decided to provide all our customers with a free data allowance equivalent to 1 month. This is inclusive of the 14 days of service disruption (30-6-2016 until 13-7-2016). We will also be providing an additional 15 days as a complimentary gift upon subscription renewal. For customers who do not wish to renew with us, please contact our customer support team.

Furthermore, all expired accounts will be reactivated for free, this includes all accounts that expired from 30-6-2016 until 18-7-2016.

Note: The compensation and complimentary packages will be rolled out based on the customer’s subscription package.

Update: Internet service disconnection

Dear Customers,

In response to some of the enquiries we have received, we would like to confirm that RLTT is committed to all of its obligations to the main satellite provider as per the agreements and contracts signed.

We would also like to inform you that this interruption is not localised to our customers only, but has also affected companies and organisations in other countries and regions of the world. We do not mention this to worry you, but purely to put you in the picture and keep you informed.

Due to the severity and magnitude of this interruption, we are currently drafting a new compensation plan that will be rolled out to all of our customers. Your satisfaction is our goal, and we will update you with the specifics of this plan very soon.

Announcement: Regarding the Internet service disconnection

Dear Customers,

We would like to start once again by apologising for this extended interruption of service which is still present up to this moment. We would like to assure you that we are still exerting our maximum efforts to resolve this issue and bring it to an end as quickly as possible. It is without doubt that the biggest and most important question relates to how long will this disconnection continue on for and when exactly will it end. As much as we would love to be able to give you a clear and definite answer for this, it deeply saddens us that we are unable to do so at the current moment.

That said, and as part of our efforts to find alternative solutions to ease the pressure from as many of customers as we possibly can, we will begin starting from today, the 2nd of July, to activate an emergency action plan that will roll out the following solutions:

  1. Activating free 30 day Internet subscriptions for customers living in Benghazi and the Eastern Region by cooperating with local suppliers and distributors
  2. Providing our customers In the cities of Tripoli and Gharyan with access to our new RLTT WiFi Internet service which we have just finished setting up and configuring. We will provide this service free of charge for 30 days to all customers residing in the coverage areas in the maps below.
  3. Activating free 30 day Internet subscriptions for the remaining customers in the Western Region by cooperating with local suppliers and distributors
  4. Offering a full refund option for customers wishing to cancel their subscription with us

Customers in Benghazi and the Eastern Region

Please communicate directly with RLTT’s sales representative Mr. Raffa Elbishari on telephone number 092 252 7071 or the reseller from whom you purchased your subscription. We in turn will coordinate with the reseller to provide you with an alternative Internet solution as quickly as possible.

Customers in Tripoli

As a preliminary step, we kindly ask customers who have purchased subscriptions from us directly to come to the company’s main HQ in Hai Alandalus with a copy of their subscription contract and proof of identity so that we may enrol you into the new RLTT Wifi Internet service

Customers in Gharyan

Our customers residing in the city of Gharyan should contact that company’s representative Essam Ahmed on telephone number 091 442 4437 and follow the same procedure as above.

Remaining customers in the Western Region

Please communicate directly with the reseller from whom you purchased your subscription. We in turn will coordinate with the reseller to provide you with an alternative Internet solution as quickly as possible.

Important: Temporary Internet service disconnection

Available now is Rawafed Hotspot Personal for you and your family. You are now able to take your Rawafed WiFi service with you whenever you go outside whether it be to a cafe or any public place where you find the Rawafed Hotspot WiFi signal. The subscription fee as simple as a one-time payment of only 20 LYD.

To use the service, connect to the Rawafed Hotspot WiFi network and proceed to login with your RLTT WiFi account details. You will be pleased to know that you can connect up to three devices simultaneously with this service from smartphones, tablets and even laptops.
